Leadership Outside of the Classroom

Junior Leadership Columbiana County

For many students, the future feels like a question waiting to be answered. Junior Leadership Columbiana County gives them a chance to start exploring those answers now.

Through experiences that take students beyond the walls of their school, Jr. LCC introduces them to new careers, new perspectives, and new opportunities. Participants meet professionals, visit local organizations, and gain firsthand exposure to the people and industries that keep Columbiana County moving.

Along the way, students build connections and begin to see how their decisions can shape the path ahead.

How Students Participate

Junior Leadership Columbiana County is a nomination-based program.

Students are identified through participating schools, with recommendations from previous participants and guidance from school counselors and administrators. Selected students are invited to complete a commitment form before officially joining the program.

Because nominations are coordinated directly through schools, there is no public application process.
